This is a category header template for use in gendered Olympic Games categories, to facilitate cross-linking between "Category:Men's Foobar" and "Category:Women's Foobar".

If it used on "Category:Men's Foobar", it will use {{Category see also if exists}} to create a "See also" hatnote to "Category:Women's Foobar".

Similarly, if it is used on "Category:Women's Foobar", it will use {{Category see also if exists}} to create a "See also" hatnote to "Category:Men's Foobar".

In each case, the hatnote will be created only if the target category exists.

This template has not been tested in all possible applications, so its use is restricted to pages which meet all the following criteria:

1. The page is in the Category namespace
2. The page title contains the word "Olympic" or "Olympics"
3. The page title contains the word "Men's" or "men's" or "Women's" or "women's"

If the page title contains more than one of instance of "Men's"/"men's"/"Women's"/"women's", only the first instance will be processed.

Tracking categories will be populated in the following cases:

Use on non-category page

Use on page without "Olympic in its title"

Use on pages whose title does not include the word "Men's" or "men's" or "Women's" or "women's"
